Belgian fullstack developer specializing in modern web applications and AI-driven solutions. I combine technical depth with a strong sense of design to build products that are both robust and visually compelling.
My work centers on full-stack development with React, Next.js, and TypeScript, complemented by AI integrations. I work daily with tools like Claude Code, Cursor, and Codex to develop faster and more intelligently. I believe that thoughtful UX design and solid architecture go hand in hand to deliver meaningful user experiences.
To stay current in a rapidly evolving field, I've earned certifications in AI and Machine Learning, including 'AI Fluency: Framework & Foundations' and 'Claude Code in Action' from Anthropic Education.
Alongside development, I'm also an active photographer. This creative background shapes my approach to design and helps me craft interfaces that feel more intuitive and visually considered.
Experience
Development of custom applications and IT solutions for the Federal Public Service Justice. Supporting digitalisation efforts, resolving technical challenges, managing SharePoint and internal Microsoft 365 tools. Development of internal and external websites and applications.
Mainly worked on the frontend during the rebranding of sparonline.be, also made websites, examples of this are the public site of LegalSquare, and Gronddepot. I also worked on parts of the frontend of LegalSquare itself and also took care of the marketing on LinkedIn. In addition, I also wrote E2E tests with Playwright for multiple projects.
Mainly worked on eGovFlow, a platform for the digitization of the government. Here I mainly worked on the frontend of the application, but also occasionally on the backend. More specifically, I worked on the implementation of a messaging module that provides communication between citizens and their local government in the context of requests and I introduced Tailwindcss. Also worked on Scan Search Online, a platform for making archives available online. I also worked on Expertcenter, an internal platform for the employees of Vanden Broele.
As part of my education, I did an internship (workplace learning) at AdvantITge. Here I mainly worked on separate projects that often had to do with the legal sector.
Bailiff office where I mainly took care of the management of legal files. I also had a lot of contact with clients, debtors, courts and others. I also learned a lot about the legal sector and the operation of a bailiff office.

GDW Scheir - Bailiff Office
Dynamic bailiff office led by Philip Scheir, based in Ghent. The website offers two free legal tools: a debt claim tool to compile claims based on unpaid invoices with automatic calculation of interest and lump-sum compensation, and a lump-sum compensation calculator for consumer debts according to the legislation of May 4, 2023. Additionally, the site contains legal terminology explanations and information about summons. All tools are freely available without registration.
CourtBudget - Budget Management Magistrate Courts East Flanders

Internal budget management system developed for FPS Justice to support the magistrate courts and police court of East Flanders in planning and managing their annual budgets. The platform offers efficient tracking of budget allocations, functionalities for expense management and financial reporting within the judicial system. The application centralizes budget processes and enables structured budget management.
VGPROVL - Information Portal Magistrate Courts East Flanders

Information portal serving as a central access point for the magistrate courts and police court in East Flanders. The website provides direct links to the official websites with all relevant information for citizens, lawyers and legal professionals. The portal supports the accessibility of judicial services in the East Flanders district.
RPV Calculator - Legal Fee Calculator
Online calculator for computing legal fees (rechtsplegingsvergoeding/RPV) according to Belgian law. The tool is designed for lawyers, bailiffs and legal professionals to quickly determine the correct RPV rates based on the principal sum. All calculations are purely indicative and have no legal value - users are responsible for the correct application of the law.
Q-TreeCare - Tree Care Company
Professional website for a tree care company specializing in tree pruning, felling and maintenance. The site presents services with a portfolio of completed projects and offers contact options for quote requests.

Software Development
I am passionate about software development and have extensive experience with different programming languages and techniques. My portfolio and projects attest to how well I know software development. I am also good at app development.
UX Design
I am passionate about how we interact with design on a daily basis. Design plays a large role in how I develop my projects. I focus on creating intuitive and user-friendly experiences. I use Adobe tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, and XD for designing visual elements and prototypes.
AI & Machine Learning
I have a great interest in AI and have therefore spent a lot of time learning different AI tools and techniques. I have also earned a certificate for "AI Fluency: Framework & Foundations" from Anthropic Education.
Photography
I have been a photographer since a young age. I started with an analog camera and I feel I am quite skilled. Photography is a passion that I have been practicing and refining for many years.
